ANDREW PRESTI is a graduate of St. John’s University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 1982. While attending school, he started the accounting firm in which he now is the Managing Partner. The firm, Presti & Naegele, employs over 25 full-time accountants and staff and has a varied client base in multiple industries. Andy is an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and has taught numerous classes in all aspects of QuickBooks. In 1997, he co-founded First Central Savings Bank, a newly chartered savings bank in New York City. The bank currently operates 9 locations in Queens and Long Island and employs in excess of 90 people. He serves on the Board of Directors as well as the Executive, Investment, Audit and IT committees.

WAYNE P. NAEGELE is a Certified Public Accountant with over 25 years of experience. He graduated from the Bernard M. Baruch College of the City University of New York in 1982 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting. He began his career on the tax and later audit staff at the New York offices of Coopers & Lybrand, now known as PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. Wayne left Coopers & Lybrand in 1988 to pursue an opportunity to start his own accounting practice. Wayne teamed up with Andrew Presti to form Presti & Naegele; continuing their partnership for over 20 years. Wayne brings a unique blend of professionalism and knowledge from his experience and training on numerous large audit and tax clients at Coopers & Lybrand and combines this with over twenty years of experience working with small and medium sized businesses and individual tax clients. His education, training and experience with all sizes and types of businesses and individual clients and his ability to manage and train professional staff has helped to build Presti & Naegele into a valuable resource for the firm’s clients. Wayne is a member in good standing of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. Wayne is an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and is also a licensed health and life insurance agent.

JOSEPH ROMANO, CPA joined Presti & Naegele in December 1996 and has been a partner at the firm since 2006. He specializes in corporate, partnership and individual taxation and is an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. Throughout his career, Joe has assisted clients from a wide spectrum of industries, providing counsel in sophisticated tax planning as well as QuickBooks consultation and training. He is an active member of the New York City Chapter of Entrepreneurs’ Organization. Joe received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from St. John’s University in 1995.

ANNEMARIE AGUANNO, CPA, has been with Presti & Naegele since September 2006. Her prior experience includes 13 years providing accounting, auditing and tax services for Broadway and touring theatrical productions. She is now a Manager providing her expertise in accounting, auditing and taxation for small business and not-for-profit organizations. She also performs audits of employee benefit plans. Annemarie is a member in good standing with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is also an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. Annemarie received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Hofstra University.

ANDREA BLYTHE joined Presti & Naegele in 2011. Andrea is the Executive Administrator for the firm. She reports directly to the Partners. She brings a focused approach to achieving a broad range of the firm’s goals. Before working at Presti & Naegele, Andrea honed her skills in marketing, sales, and management in various positions in educational publishing and consumer product industries. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing Communication.

ALICIA J. FLERI has over a decade of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper and QuickBooks Trainer. She currently manages the firm’s QuickBooks consulting division PNATC. She began her career with Presti & Naegele in 2005 after several years as a freelance QuickBooks trainer and business owner. She became a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor in 2004, Advanced Certified in 2007 and currently sits as a Member of the Intuit Solution Provider Advisory Council.

ALEX FLORES started with Presti & Naegele during 2009. Since 2008, Alex is an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. Alex has worked as a full charge bookkeeper for over ten years and began his QuickBooks training career in 2003. Along with his QuickBooks expertise, Alex is a Crystal Reports developer and an expert in Custom Reporting.

ANGELINA GINZBURG has been with Presti & Naegele since 2007. Her current and prior experience includes seven years of working as a Staff Accountant for business clients, performing accounting functions specific to various industries. Angelina regularly lends support to her business clients in performing their duties and managing their businesses. She provides assistance to Controllers and Principals of mid-sized businesses by analyzing account activities, ensuring accuracy of financial transactions, analyzing financial statements and making recommendations for accounting procedures, efficiency and improvements. In addition, she is an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. Angelina is currently completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Her graduation is expected in 2012.

STEVE R. GRGAS, MBA, CPA has been with Presti & Naegele since February 2001. His prior experience includes time at BDO Seidman LLP and Prudential Securities, Inc. He now specializes in corporation, partnership and individual taxation and is an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. Steve received his Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in History and Government & Politics from St. John’s University and a Master of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Hofstra University.

CONNIE HARRIGAN joined Presti & Naegele in 2009 as the Bookkeeping Manager for the QuickBooks division. Connie does bookkeeping work for a variety of clients ranging from financial companies to design firms. Connie’s greatest asset is getting along well with her clients and meeting their every need. Having passed parts of the CPA exam, Connie plans on becoming a CPA in the near future. She graduated from Monroe College with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance and is currently enrolled at Long Island University, pursuing her Master’s degree in Business and Human Resource Management. She is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and has previous experience in Banking.

ROBERT HOLZHAUER has been with Presti & Naegele since July 2006. As a Staff Accountant, he specializes in corporation, partnership and individual taxation and is an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. He also worked as a Sales Consultant for one year at the investment firm S.W. Bach & Company. Robert received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Hofstra University.

BRITANNY KALTEN joined Presti & Naegele in 2012 as a staff accountant. She graduated from Binghamton University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance. She brings experience in corporate finance and project management from her internships at JP Morgan Chase to the firm.

ELIAS KOUMNIOTES has been with Presti & Naegele since 2006. His prior experience includes two years as a Tax Associate working with business and individual clients. He specializes in corporation, partnership and individual taxation and is an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. Elias received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Queens College.

SAMANTHA J. KOWALSKI joined Presti & Naegele in 2010. Her prior experience includes three years of both public and private accounting. Her public accounting experience began with Citrin Cooperman and Co., LLP, as an Audit and Tax Associate. Her public audit work covered a variety of industries including real estate, law firms and apparel as well as the preparation of compilations and reviews. Her tax work involved preparation of income tax returns for corporations, partnerships and individuals. She also worked as a Tax Associate for Ronald J. Borden & Associates preparing tax returns for individuals. Additionally, she worked as an Internal Accountant at Windsor Management Corp. maintaining their accounting books and records and preparing the entity’s corporation income tax returns. Now at Presti & Naegele as a Staff Accountant, she specializes in preparing audits, reviews and compilations as well as the preparation of financial statements for clients in various industries including manufacturing, employee benefit plans and real estate. Samantha received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Manhattan College.

MINETTE KRIETEMEYER joined Presti & Naegele in 2011. Her prior experience includes 20 years of both public and private accounting with an emphasis on tax return preparation and planning for individuals, corporations and partnerships. For eleven years, she worked as a Tax Planner and Tax Preparer with Wade, Thompson & Co. LPA, a professional accounting firm. In addition, she worked for the law firm, Graydon, Head & Ritchey LLP as an Internal Accountant specializing in payroll and benefits for the firm and as a Tax Paralegal involving tax return planning and preparation for the clients. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Dayton. At Presti & Naegele, Minette specializes in tax planning for businesses and individuals.

BRI-ANN LADOWSKI joined Presti & Naegele in February 2011 as a Staff Accountant. She graduated from the Bernard M. Baruch College of the City University of New York with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting. She currently specializes in individual taxation as well as bookkeeping. As a client-oriented professional, Bri-Ann leverages over ten years of experience in the service industry with her certification as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor to provide personal, proficient work to her clients.

DAVID MANISTER joined Presti & Naegele in January of 2012 as a Staff Accountant. He graduated from C.W. Post University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting. He brings experience working as a part-time bookkeeper for a NYC law firm, and held an internship at Marcum LLP. He currently specializes in bookkeeping, individual taxation, and general accounting for both Corporate and Individual clients.

FRANCIS J. MOLINA has been with Presti & Naegele since February 2007. She specializes in corporation, partnership, and individual taxation. She is responsible for maintaining client books and records for a wide variety of service and product based businesses including law firms, PR firms, social media and wholesale companies. Additionally, she is an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and is fluent in Spanish. Francis graduated from Baruch College in 2007 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

IRINA NESTEROVA has been with Presti & Naegele since 2006 as a Staff Accountant. She specializes in the preparation of individual income tax returns, payroll, and sales tax returns. She is an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and is fluent in Russian. Her public accounting experience began as a Chief Accountant where she was responsible for all accounting functions including monthly closings, quarterly tax reports, financial statements, and internal auditing. Irina earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Bishkek College. Irina expects to graduate in 2012 with a second Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the State University of New York.

VICTORIANA PECK joined Presti & Naegele in 2000. As a Staff Accountant with over ten years experience, Victoriana works on corporation tax issues as well as general accounting for the firm’s business and individual clients. She is an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and is fluent in Spanish. She attended the Bernard M. Baruch College of the City University of New York studying Business Administration and has prior experience selling real estate in New York State.

STEPHEN PERCUDANI joined Presti & Naegele’s QuickBooks Consulting Division, PNATC, in 2011. Stephen brings 12 years of entrepreneurial acumen to Presti & Naegele. For the past six years, he worked internationally in the sports and entertainment fields. Prior to that, Stephen operated a full-service marketing firm in New York. Stephen’s previous experience is a valuable asset to his position as Manager of Business Development.

JACLYN PRESTI started with Presti & Naegele in 2009. Jackie works as an Administrative Intern while she attends Queens College studying Psychology.

SALVATORE V. RUSSO, CPA is a Manager at Presti & Naegele and has been with the firm since November, 2002. He has over ten years of experience in Public Accounting and works with business and individual clients in a variety of industries. He has extensive experience working with clients in the areas of estate, trust and gift, corporation, partnership and individual taxation. He also is an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. Salvatore received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Pace University.

DONALD SAGER, CPA brings more than 20 years of experience to his position as a Manager at Presti & Naegele. He has been employed with the firm since 2005. Donald specializes in the areas of business and individual taxation, general accounting, audits, financial statements and is an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. Donald holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Hofstra University. He is licensed to practice public accounting in New York.

RUVY SLATER started with Presti & Naegele in early 2011. She has held the Intuit/QuickBooks ProAdvisor Certification for both Enterprise and Point of Sale since 2009. Her prior experience includes five years of supporting QuickBooks customers in the areas of technical and customer service. Ruvy specializes in customizing built-in QuickBooks reports.

MATTHEW THORN JR., MBA, CPA has been with Presti & Naegele since July 2007. His prior experience includes six years between Arthur Andersen LLP and Ernst & Young LLP working as a Tax Associate in the financial services tax group, servicing hedge funds, private equity funds, investment partnerships and insurance companies. He also worked for one year as a Tax Manager in the general corporate tax group for BDO Seidman LLP. Matt is a Manager at Presti & Naegele where he specializes in corporation, partnership and individual taxation and is an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. Matt received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Masters of Business Administration degree in Taxation from St. John’s University.

TRAVIS TRUDEAU has been a Consultant with Presti & Naegele since October 2007. He has worked with companies in a variety of industries and has extensive knowledge of QuickBooks Financial and Point of Sale software. Prior to working at Presti & Naegele, he worked for Intuit as a Technical Support Representative and was part of the advanced support team.

SANDRA TUMMINELLO has been with Presti & Naegele since 2004. As Office Manager, Sandra ensures the smooth flow of the firm’s day-to-day operations. In addition, she works closely with the partners, managers and accounting staff to augment the firm’s commitment to providing personal attention to its clients. Sandra is detail oriented and brings consistent, reliable support to the firm’s staff especially during the peak of the tax season.

LISA VARELA has been with Presti & Naegele since January, 1988. Currently as a Manager at the firm, she specializes in corporation, partnership and individual taxation and is an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. She has experience in the areas of estate, trust and gift taxation, pension plans, and small business consulting. Lisa received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Queens College.

ASHLEY WALLACE has been with Presti & Naegele since 2005. Ashley is a member of the QuickBooks division and is an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. Her typical projects include installation, set up and training on various QuickBooks programs. Her past experience includes ten years in the retail management and wholesale industries. Although this experience enables her to specialize in inventory and sales management, she has worked on QuickBooks engagements in almost every industry. She is certified in all versions of QuickBooks and QuickBooks Point of Sale. Ashley studied Business Administration at Farmingdale State College.

ELIZABETH M. WALTER, CPA is certified in New York and New Jersey. She has been with Presti & Naegele since 2010. At the firm, Liz specializes in accounting and taxation for small to mid-size businesses, and is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Economics from Queens College, CUNY. Prior to working with Presti & Naegele, Liz worked several years with a construction company overseeing the accounting and compliance areas. Liz also worked six years with CIT Group in their commercial leasing and lending areas as a Senior Accountant before being promoted to Assistant Vice President of Finance. Liz began her career with Marsh McLennan starting as a Staff Accountant before her promotion to Senior Accountant in their global accounting department. She also worked several tax seasons with professional accounting firms specializing in corporation and individual taxation.

BRIAN M. WHELAN, CPA has been with Presti & Naegele since September 2004. In addition to his experience in public accounting at Presti & Naegele, Brian was also the CFO for a financial consulting company. His experience working in the private sector has given him the advantage to provide useful tips and insight for his clients in regards to setting up internal controls, procedures and managing their books and records. Brian now specializes in multi-jurisdictional corporate, partnership and individual taxation and is an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. Brian received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Baruch College.
